    This nifty optical element shortens the effective focal length of Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes by 37%, converting the standard f/10 optical system to a faster f/6.3 system (f/7 for the Celestron 14" SCT). The result is a wider field of view, to better frame deep-sky objects that may not fit within the narrower field of view at f/10. The shorter focal length also reduces exposure times for astrophotography and CCD imaging by 2.5 times! This device also corrects for field curvature and other aberrations inherent in the telescope's optical system. Stars appear pinpoint sharp from one edge of the field to the other. The F/6.3 Reducer/Corrector features a four-element, fully multi-coated optical design with a 41mm clear aperture.     Orion tele-extenders permit high-magnification "eyepiece projection" photography of the Moon and planets with a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Orion tele-extenders are designed to fit all Celestron and Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. Made of anodized aluminum, the tele-extender fits over a 1.25" telescope eyepiece, with one end threading onto the eyepiece holder (visual back) of the telescope, and the other end threading into the T-ring (sold separately) attached to your DSLR camera body. This Standard Tele-Extender is a fixed-length cylinder that provides a single projection magnification depending on the focal length of the eyepiece you use. Some 1.25" telescope eyepieces have housings that are too wide to fit inside the tele-extender.
    A T-ring converts a SLR or DSLR camera mount to a standard T-thread. All camera adapters and universal camera adapters will fit this T-thread. This wide (48mm) T-ring supports full 35mm format cameras. A wide format T-ring is needed for astrophotographic applications using a Nikon DSLR or SLR camera and a focal-reducer / corrector lens.

    These tube rings have an inside diameter (ID) of 140mm (5.5"). Orion Tube Rings for telescope Optical Tube Assemblies come as a set of two with quick-release, hinged clamp knobs for easy installation on your favorite telescope. Each tube ring features a felt lining to keep your telescope optical tube free of scratches. Mounting bolts and washers are included with each set of tube rings. A threaded piggy-back camera adapter is integrated on one of the two tube rings in each set. Many different sizes are available for almost any telescope. Inside diameter (ID) is listed.     The 8mm Delos eyepiece from Tele Vue is great for obtaining sharp and clear views with moderate magnification. With 20mm eye relief and a wide, 72-deg field of view, the 8mm Delos will be a welcome addition to any amateur astronomer's gear collection. The TeleVue Delos eyepiece design was conceived as a narrower field alternative to Ethos eyepieces. Reducing the field to 72-deg allowed freedome to increase eye-relief, while controlling pupil aberrations, all without making the eyepiece too large. The Delos design achieves full field sharpness, virtually perfect theta distortion mapping, and color neutrality.
